DMVAC Implements Code of Conduct
DMVAC operates within a set of codes of conduct that as part of your membership in joining the club you will be asked to sign up to.The codes of conduct are set out in the DMVAC Welcome Pack. This pack is given to all new athletes, coaches, volunteers and officials within the club. It is imperative that you read and abide by all appropriate codes of conduct. If you feel that someone within the club is not following these codes of conduct in any way it is important that you contact the Club Chairman/Head Coach/Welfare Officer as soon as possible. See contact details.
DMVAC is a friendly athletics club which caters for all abilities, ages - and ambitions.
DMVAC U15 athletes numbers 33, 38, the girl between these two runners
and 61 representing their schools in the 2013 Schools Cross Country competition.
We participate in road running, athletics, cross country and multi-sports (cycling and swimming), providing training for sprinters through to marathon runners along with supporting activities such as circuit training.
DMVAC also has an active social calendar with a home-cooked supper after the monthly winter handicap and a BBQ in the summer on the last Thursday in the month. There is an annual barn dance and various other ad hoc social gatherings.
DMVAC has a very active Junior section with several age groups who participate in running sessions and land-based training tailored to their age and abilities.
