On Sunday 11th April 2010 the Denbies Fun Run will return as TWO new events offering a fun day out and a challenge for all! Choose from a 10 mile race across the North Downs or a shorter but still scenic 5k. Perfect as a pre Virgin London or Brighton fine tune or for those registering for their first event. And best of all, the proceeds go to the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
Denbies 5k
Time: Sunday 11th April, 10am
This fantastic new race in the beautiful Surrey countryside offers a challenging, fun 5km race on trail and bridle path around Denbies Wine Estate. Perfect for seasoned veterans and first timers alike.The Route
The route will start and finish in Denbies Vineyard. The final aspects of the route are currently awaiting ratification and will appear here shortly.Race HQ
The race HQ is Denbies Vineyard. A map of the HQ can be found here. There are toilets and secure baggage facilities available. Run to Live, the local running specialist will be onsite with a store with lots of goodies available for purchase.Race Entry

All paper entries with a SAE will be sent race numbers approximately two weeks before the race. If you have registered online or did not enclose a SAE, you will be able to pick your numbers up on the day. More details on the registration process will appear here in due course.Marshals

All of the proceeds of the Denbies Events will go to the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Rainbow Trust's family support workers provide non-medical care in a family's own home by helping out with practical chores such as taking siblings to school, doing the food shopping and attending hospital appointments. www.justgiving.com can assist with this.
