Rob Russell's Performance Sessions
Rob Russell's Junior sessions for all ages start at 7pm down Pixham Lane, Dorking on Mondays and Thursdays.
The group coached by Rob is for those athletes that wish to train and compete at a serious level. The group consists of athletes from 11 years old and up, with experience and ability from keen club athlete to County and National standard. Training sessions are divided into several groups with individualised training adapted to each athlete's specific needs and goals.

with details of childs running experience/distance, age and school year.
All athletes are reminded that the reason for them to come to training will be to improve fitness, improve technique and to compete for Dorking and Mole Valley Athletics Club. All of this will be conducted in a fun and safe environment where every person will have an opportunity to reach their full potential as an athlete and a sports person.
The most important thing to bring is enthusiasm! Athletics is fun, and our training includes games and competitions to stimulate and challenge everyone. Athletes are encouraged to take part in the various sports leagues in the summer, and the MABAC cross-country league.
We cater for all standards from beginners to the very able, and specialist coaching sessions are available within the club for athletes who wish to take their skills further. Club Juniors have gone on to represent Surrey and England.
We are combining our young athlete groups, this will enable us to make the most of our coaching resources and of the equipment that we have. The emphasis is on bringing the club closer together encouraging every one to compete for Dorking and Mole Valley Athletics Club.
Any young person behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave due to the fact that there is a waiting list for young people who want to run and get fit.
There will be a bullying policy introduced to the club; paperwork will be handed to athletes once the club committee have approved the document.
Please bear in mind that training sessions may run over slightly in time.
APPROPRIATE CLOTHING
During all training sessions you are expected to come appropriately dressed Trainers, (and a spare pair of training shoes, if you have them) Navy or black Track suit bottoms and shorts, a white T-shirt, a Dorking & Mole Valley hooded top, a water proof top and don't forget your bottle of water. To take part in our training sessions all athletes need to be a fully paid up member of the club.
